Note: CNLL is an all-volunteer operation, and we do need more volunteers.

Almost every family is involved in some role with their child's team, whether it is team parent, carpool organizer, taking shifts in our snack shack, or even stepping up to help with coaching or umpiring. In this way each team is made to be much more successful. However, CNLL needs volunteers to take up roles beyond the team in order to have a league in which these teams can play.

Many of the league volunteers roles are small, simple tasks, but if we don't get enough people to fill the roles then it can increase the burdens on all of us.

CNLL serves around 200 to 400 players. To fill all of the key roles takes about two dozen people. The tasks can be covered with about a dozen people with a bit of extra effort. However, with only a half-dozen people doing the work then the burdens can get heavy.

Looking at any team in the league, at least one parent will be managing or coaching. However, if we could get one other parent from each team to take on a board-level role, then we would have enough hands that the work level becomes very light (even ceremonial). Any time there is a game between CNLL Majors or Minors, or even Farm-level teams, ideally there should be a couple of league volunteers in the stands -- if you look around at your team and do not see one or two people volunteering beyond the team, then we need you to step in and fill the gaps.

Please don’t assume we can do this without your help, we cannot. We need you. If you're not sure what you can do or think you don’t know enough about CNLL or baseball don’t worry, there is plenty of information and help to get you started. No experience is needed. We need new members to get involved, to champion the ideals of CNLL, and carry on the traditions of community baseball for the next generation of our youth.
