Safety First!

- Injury Reporting Form (PDF form; print, fill out, and hand in)
- Medical Release Form
- You need to be carrying one of these for every player on your team
- With one of these, if there ever is an injury at a practice or a game, the emergency technicians can start to attend to the kid right away, rather than having to wait for a parent to show up.
- You will want to be sure that the parent has signed the form in ink, the emergency technicians are not supposed to accept copies.

Fields
- If there are any conflicts regarding the use of the fields for practice or the games, look at the field permits

Games
- Umpire Evaluation Form (Word doc; print, fill out, and hand in)
- Make sure that several of your families are familiar with the Field Prep requirements.
Rules
Coaches should also be familiar with all of the rules. Each coach is provided with the official Little League rules booklet, but also stay up to date with all of the Umpires Info.
Training
- Al and Al Clinics to be required for at least two representatives from each team.
- 2009 Al and Al Coach and Manager Clinics
- Required training for all managers, coaches, and assistants.
- Usually some part of District 44 hosts these clinics, often hosted at Los Altos Little League
- One evening targeted mostly at the Farm and TBall ages, the other evening more for the older players
- If possible catch the right session, but either session can be helpful to most any coach.
