The forms, pointers, information, and whatever you need to help your teams.

Safety First!

  • Training, information, and more in the Safety Info
  • Injury Reporting Form (PDF form; print, fill out, and hand in)
  • Medical Release Form
    • You need to be carrying one of these for every player on your team
      • With one of these, if there ever is an injury at a practice or a game, the emergency technicians can start to attend to the kid right away, rather than having to wait for a parent to show up.
      • You will want to be sure that the parent has signed the form in ink, the emergency technicians are not supposed to accept copies.

Fields

  • If there are any conflicts regarding the use of the fields for practice or the games, look at the field permits

Rules

Coaches should also be familiar with all of the rules. Each coach is provided with the official Little League rules booklet, but also stay up to date with all of the Umpires Info.

Training

  • Al and Al Clinics to be required for at least two representatives from each team.
    • 2009 Al and Al Coach and Manager Clinics
    • Required training for all managers, coaches, and assistants.
      • Usually some part of District 44 hosts these clinics, often hosted at Los Altos Little League
        • One evening targeted mostly at the Farm and TBall ages, the other evening more for the older players
          • If possible catch the right session, but either session can be helpful to most any coach.
  • Positive Coaching Alliance
    • Recommended to be familiar with the recommended approaches for working with young players.

Coaches! Each team can have its own web site here at CNLL. Have your own web space to post notes, schedules, and what not; have your team parent update volunteer rotations online; or whatever you can think of...

See the Staff Info page for how to arrange access, or contact the WebMaster for more information.
