Minors and Majors Rules: 2006

Rule 3.05 The Pitcher named in the batting order handed to the umpire-in-chief, as provided in rule 4.01 (a) and 4.01 (b) shall pitch to the first batter.

Rule 4.10 (e) If after four (4) innings, three and a half if the home team is ahead, one team is ahead, ten (10) or more runs, the manager with the least runs will concede the victory to the opponent.

Rule 8.03 Limit Pitcher to 8 warm up pitches or one minute. (We have to keep the games moving and to get everyone before dark. Please enforce this. Your families will appreciate it.)

Minimum play rule: All players on the roster will participate in at least nine (9) defensive outs.

Minors Special Rules

5 runs per inning. Unlimited runs in last inning of play.

Pitcher can pitch no more than 3 innings in a game.

Rule VI (e) No more than 5 pitchers may be used in a single game.

Continuous roster Batting will be used for ALL Minor games. This means that each player will bat in order of the roster / lineup card given to the umpire even if they are not currently in the defensive lineup.

Majors Special Rules

Majors will use continuous roster batting until after spring break (4/13). This means that each player will bat in order of the roster / lineup card given to the umpire even if they are not currently in the defensive lineup. After 4/13 teams will use standard lineup batting, nine player batting order.

After April 13th, Minimum play rule goes into effect. Rule IV (i) Every player on the roster will participate in each game for a minimum of six (6) defensive outs and bat at least one (1) time.
