2007 PCA Workshop
CNLL Managers and Coaches,
I'd like to thank you all for volunteering to serve our league and players. I'm sure you're all very busy getting your teams moving in a positive direction and preparing for a great season. One set of tools that will definitely help you, your team, and our league, are the coaching strategies and techniques provided by the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA).
Mountain View and Los Altos Little Leagues are hosting a PCA workshop on Wednesday, March 14, and CNLL has arranged for our teams to partake.
CNLL would like at least one manager, coach or representative from each team in our league to attend this workshop.
- Date: Wednesday, March 14 from 7:30PM to 9:30PM
- Location: Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave, Los Altos
Workshop: "Double-Goal Coach: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons"
This is the PCA's introductory workshop to expose coaches to the Double-Goal concept (see http://www.positivecoach.org/DGC.aspx?SecID=343). It is appropriate for all managers and coaches. This workshop is a great way to emphasize the Little League philosophies of teaching and fair play while providing strategies for being a more positive and effective coach.
