Game Commentaries
- 6/13 Tournament Championship: Reds vs Cardinals... The Championship brought on nerves and a few surprises. Jed hit a two run home run to put the Reds ahead in the first inning. Outstanding pitching by Jonathan (6 strikeouts) and two amazing stretching catches by Lexing in center field helped the Reds stay close through the first five innings. Max fired up the team with a week-side double and exciting steals to score twice in the fourth. Mathias at shortstop made throws to first and almost completed a double play for two outs. Alex from third base made a good throw for an out in the third inning. Shiron made two solid throws from second for outs in the 4th and 5th inning. Jed struck out two at pitcher in the 6th inning. Mathias made a craddle catch as catcher to end the sixth. Reds pitchers allowed 8 walks and hit to batters. It was a good competition right down to the last out. Cardinals win 12-10.

The Giants pitchers only gave up 3 walks while Reds pitchers gave up 13 bases on balls. Pitchers Ryan and Mathias both registered two strike outs and Alex came in and did a nice job closing out the game with one strike out. The outstanding defensive play of the game went to Mathias with a double play from short-stop position, by fielding a grounder, stepping on second and throwing to Ryan to get the Giants out of the top of the sixth.
